Annoying. It will prevent the team from acquiring more face punchers and winning the hit battle.

I love Dach but he puts himself in a lot of vulnerable positions on the boards and elsewhere- I see injury coming

Why is Lehner called Lard Arse?

Especially considering the Hawks "don't stick up for each other"

Honestly this is the most fun I've had watching this team in quite a while.

Although I do have to agree with Vandy, I am not as impressed with Highmore as others. He's just a guy.

Yah, silly Hawks, sticking up for each other by scoring goals, and defending. They need more helmet punchers.

LOL really. Vandermeer23, who I do honestly like as a poster and he just can not stop changes he does not like from happening. I honestly feel for him on this, because YES a part of me has really enjoyed fights over the years. Hell, I bought a Wiz #43 the day after he beat the poop ouf of Jordan Tootoo. That was some of the most fun I had until we find out Wiz blew out his knee during that fight stepping on a stick. Was it worth it? Sadly, too often it's not.

Have you noticed that the Blackhawks started winning as soon as he was sent to the press box?
- scottak

Yeah gilbert was the soul reason. Not the blown coverages and lack of goal scoring by the forwards. Ok

They are playing much more like one unit to my untrained eye, and that is fun to watch.

to quote ogie: you're funny

go watch the great brawls of the 80-90's for your entertainment..

- bogiedoc

Or the bench-clearing penalty-box-filling brawls of the 50s and 60s.

Hawks need to sign Lehner & thank Crawford for the memories

Sole, not soul. And no, he wasn’t. But he sucked. Mightily.

2 minute addition Unsport...wow ok...i have seen guys do alot worse...unless he verbally used the refs
- bogiedoc

Yes, they deserve it. Did you ever read any of Paul Stewart's blogs here? He is all over the place making excuses for bad officiating, except that they make bad calls.

not the sole reason...he was horrible...the eye test, metrics, shots againt, goals against...

gilbert love fest is severely misplaced...

but the hawks are playing well and you have to come in an female dog about highmore, enforcing and intimidation...PLEASE...

Vandy. I am with you on Gilby, my views on him are well documented. I like him and YES I did like the toughness he brought, but he wasn't playing competent NHL hockey. I think he will eventually become a third pairing guy, but he has no business playing at this time, I don't care how many times he's willing to bash his knuckles against a piece of hard plastic.

He needs to learn when to go for the hit and when to make the play - and when not to fight, starting it or not.

Number 12,

Can’t believe the vanishing act this year

Maybe a Drouin trade
