Every time the Canucks have a chance to claim top spot in the division they lose it seems. San Jose is not very good and should be a win for Vancouver.

I think only Vantel predicted that San Jose would face plant this year. They need help at the goaltender position but with everything they have given up chasing the cup the past couple years, they don't have the assets anymore.

It was me - wasn’t hard to see based on last year SJ had like 10 guys have career years then they lost some key guys and really didn’t replace them.

I believe Arizona is still third - they have 51 GP, 26 wins, 19 regulation wins. Vegas also has 51 GP and 19 regulation wins, but only 25 total wins.

Canucks need a win to get into first. If they get one point, they'll be behind the Oilers, with an identical record, but two less regulation wins in the same number of games played.
