I agree, however I think Botts likes Mountour made it his point to get Montour.
Id be interested to see the people on the inside if they know "his guys" who he is probably really out looking for.

True, however that was before Krueger was hired, and Krueger seems to like Risto a lot. Also, if Botts knew he was going to be able to get Joker, does he trade for Montour or Miller? Hindsight is 20/20, but would have been happy with Joker and used the other assets on a top 6 forward.

Cant he like both? I think all of these guys have been on his I want list. The Miller side i think that was to improve the roster probably.

Not because Botts sucks, but because over the past several years trades at the TDL timeframe have dropped off.
I would expect Sabres to be sellers of UFAs, maybe a minor deal.
