Kessel was moved in the summer, and the other would never happen, atleast in a trade - Buff36
What do you mean never happen? He was literally moved barely more than a month ago.
Also, yeah, Kessel was moved in the summer, great, and? I'm pretty sure it was obvious the Sabres needed forwards in the summer.
Botts is gun-shy. 2 (frank)ing years in a row he threw away a great start because he refused to make a move. Yeah, deals don't grow on trees, neither are they so rare as white bison. |

He's not having a great year, still on pace for 50 points, but the Coyotes are weird; they don't give anyone ice time. Their leader is Hall with 18:42, Stepan is the only other forward over 18:00 with 18:01, Kessel is third with 17:38. - Wetbandit1
Yeah, that would be great considering the next best RW after Reinhart is... Okposo |

I know the one was moved a month ago, just that we weren't ever gonna trade for him. And what were you gonna give for Kessel that Pit wanted. |

It’s more likely that the Coyotes are going to hand the Devils a top 15 pick this year than make the playoffs.
Would you live with Botts if he traded our first rounder this year to finish just outside the playoffs and watch Hall sign elsewhere in the offseason ? |

Highly suspect. 1 point out of the division lead. That's fewer points than your boy Nylander is beating Reinhart by |

What Pittsburgh wanted was cap space and to get Phil out of there because he was (frank)ing with Malkin's headspace.
We could have offered both of those things, but Botterill opted for Miller and Vesey instead
Would they have taken the 2nd, 3rd and 5th we used for those two plus Erod and Nelson? I'll say yes |

2-3 game lead on teams that are ahead of them.
The coyotes need to hope they don’t win the games that they have in hand. |

No, 1-2 games. And they have the second best goal differential in that division, which is typically a good indicator of a playoff team |

They got 2 former1st rnd picks for Kessel, Gally hasn't worked out, Joseph was a 1st in 2017. So again who were you giving up |

Regardless, we dont have to worry about that because our GM hasn't taken a swing in almost a year.
And when the Coyotes do make it this year, JB will be the only GM on the job for 3+ years to have never made the playoffs.
He's in a league of his own! |

I'm substituting picks for mediocre players. A 2nd, 3rd, 5th and Erod and Nelson. They probably want Johnson or Samuelson instead, and I say, "you got it" |

Well we dont have to worry about that because our GM doesn't make big mistakes. He makes a series of small mistakes that adds up to one big one |

The prospect pool that the Coyotes are accumulating is quite impressive. I can see why they did what they did, it’s just tough to think that they gave up a first for a rental (2 firsts if he resigns) |

I truly believe there will be moves to be made this offseason, perhaps I’m overestimating Botts’ intelligence and plan however I can rationalize what he’s done for the most part the past few years in terms of building though ending a few more high picks.
Hopefully this is the last time we pick top 15 for a long time. I fully expect us to be playoff bound next year or else Botts should join GMTM on the unemployment line. |

Teams give up 1sts for rentals. Teams actually try to win. Not this team, but teams. This team turns Scandella into Frolik and packs it up for a couple months while chaulking it up as a win |

Phil was going to Az... nothing botts would or could have offered would have changed that. rs-m Nmc ntc .... Phil wanted to be in AZ to golf and be with tochet. I’m in PGH and that was known forever here... can’t blame botts on Phil...

Yeah, no one ever waives their NTC to come here, until they do: Skinner, Frolik
Throw another excuse log on the fire |

Again, I’m in Pittsburgh. I know the environment around that time. It was Phil and Az. And that was it. Phil wasn’t going anywhere else... he’s crazy enough to just have “burgland” before being sent anywhere else...
I’m just as critical of botts... gally should have been hammered out 40 days ago! |

And Kessel would’ve said,
“No, I’m not going to Buffalo. I told u guys I’d go play for my former coach who i really like. Make a deal happen with ARZ” |
