Not for Laughton. No, if you need a roster spot, Pitlick maybe. I think that the cap space would need to be a separate deal, Ghost maybe.

I think LA would want prospects and/or a draft pick in exchange for Carter.

We’ve been spoiled by having Timonen, Streit and Ghost prior to Provorov. Some of us don’t realize how thin an argument it is to complain about Provorov on the Power Play right now. Let’s return to this debate in 4 to 6 years.

Provorov sometimes reminds me of Timonen on the PP. I’m not even sure exactly what it is...but I do hope it develops.

Regarding leadership-

It is easy to get up for better teams especially rivals. A good leadership unit will make sure the team is up for every game regardless of opponent. Hopefully we start to turn the corner after the break. Every game will be big down the stretch. Lots of games versus the East.

Provorov looks uncomfortable at times on the PP, Timonen, never... you clearly don’t watch if you think Provy has been good on PP1, someone mentioned his goals on the power play I’d bet most or all came while on PP2
