Are we wrong tho? I don't understand these ultra positive no matter what fans. " well if price turns into a brick wall and drouin grows a foot and weber goes back to being 25 years old next summer, we have a shot at the cup!" I don't see how calling a spade a spade is a bad thing. The team is just treading water and has a poop ton of work to do the get back to being a cup contending team.

Price is Ovi's female dog! He owns him every single game they play against each other. The only way we ever beat them was with Halak.
- Snots33_77

I wouldn't bet any money on it but the habs often play well against top tier teams.

Also, isn't every goalie Ovechkin's female dog?

And you know what the future holds for the likes of Caufield, Suzuki, Poehling, Kotkaniemi, Romanov, Primeau and others?

This team needs time to grow, adding good, young players should be priority number one but there isn't much they can do right this minute to improve the team

We are on the same wavelength ... people have to stop listening to the yes men in the media who are selling us the same crap over and over (Saint Price will make us win all by himself).

When your whole team's philosophy is built around a freakin' goalie then you get what you get.

it will take a few years to see the impact of the last 2-3 drafts and the next one, the problem with the reset while trying to stay competitive is they still miss the playoffs every year and don't get to add the quality of prospects they could with a real rebuilding process. Molson is buying this strategy...that's all that matters to MB

f we went back 6 years, the same convos about bauleau tinordi mccaron sherbak probably took place. They are dart throws at this point. But unfortunately with the track record of this teams development of young players, in the last 10-15 years, odds are that they will be midling NHL players.

What's the point of living in the past? Those past failures are indicative of what's to come??

they did but it will take years to see many of them in action and producing at the NHL level while the team still hovers around the 10-12 place in the conference, worse place to be in you are trying to stack up on top end prospects. Habs could seriously use a few years with top 5 picks, now they pray to win the lottery while golfing by mid april
