Rafferty has played 40 AHL games and has 37 points.

Dumba has 2 less points than Tanev this year, and 3 goals

The point would be to buy low in hopes of Dumba recapturing what he used to be. Certainly an upgrade over Stecher and maybe even Myers because he's 4 years younger

The hurdle for me is we are playing well & JB highly unlikely to swing a significant trade til offseason at the earliest.

I luv trading & upgrading but the way we are shaping up I see the D corp evolving from within. With Tanev & Stetcher expiring it motivates me to trade if JB decided on the future look of the roster. Where do they both fit in & at how much? Cap is the problem.

All of my scenarios have moving parts & a domino effect. I too like Tanev & just one more consideration to figure into it all.

He still doesn't get it. Minny is the one desperate to shake things up. The Canucks aren't. Therefore the Canucks should only trade with them if the deal is clearly in the Canucks favour. Why would you make a reasonable deal with a desperate/mediocre team?

He’s a year removed from a 50 point season in the show and plays more than 20 minutes. 25 years old... pretty high value i would think.
