I want them to just blow them out.

Matthews hatty.

I want them to win 2-0 in a hard fought defensive game.

Yup, the whole point of getting him was short term cost certainty and having a body in the lineup that can play in the NHL, which he is.
- TheMussel

It was the cost of unloading Z.

I thought he wasn’t that good. He definitely has had better games where he’s looked like a good bottom pairing guy. Greg Mullen just pumped his tires all game which put the blinders on for people.

That’s cool, I just disagree and gave you video evidence as to why I disagree.

Hyman was fantastic! For the most part I was happy with most of the team, but Hyman really stood out.

Edit: Actually, if I think about it, I was pretty irritated with Tavares and Kerfoot. Neither one seemed to be very effective.

- Monkeypunk

Yeah, Tavares seemed to be a little off last night..
Everyone else, including Ceci, played pretty well

He made some glaring mistakes that cost the Leafs.

He doesn’t offer much offensively so when he makes those glaring mistakes he hurts the team. I gave you video evidence...sometimes my eyes lie to me and someone shows me evidence.

Honestly I feel for the Millens and Farraros. They have to offer insight on the game with no time to reflect or look at video. They look silly all the time but it’s really not their fault.

Thankfully, Will.I.Am Nylander is picking up the play for Tavares..

Willy drives that line now...

The "eye test" shows me that Nylander didn't score that goal. Rather, that Bishop moved the puck from Nylander's skate to stick and stepped aside to help Willy gain some confidence.

He's so bad, he's no longer even on the perimeter.

He's avoiding the boards because he doesn't want to get hit!

Just seems really franking weird for season ticket holders.

I get the 2 pm on Sunday thingy. I'd like that.

But two afternoon games in a row?

That's just too much day drinking.

41 points in his last 40 games

Quick question. How many games of scoring a PPG can we say it’s not a hot streak and he’s just a line driving player?

I know, you're right. It's funny because the section of Leafs Twitter that hates Nylander was giving credit to everyone but Willy on his goal.

Stupid Willy.

He realized that if he hangs around the net he only has to watch for pucks hitting him not players.
