This is your rebuttal to Pasta's one good year compared to Nylander's two? That's what I thought, Roger.

- RickJames77

Nylander's 1st 2 full seasons was 61 points. Pastas's 2nd best year was 30 points

Our GM gets destroyed for giving 6.9 for a blue chip 22 year-old and Charlie's Coyle deal is brilliant.

Because he was playing in the League at 18 and 19 and Nylander wasn't. They're not comparable.

First of all, I've never slammed your GM. Once.

Nor did I call Coyle's deal brilliant.

Not as hard as arguing with a brick (frank)ing wall, like yourself. Carry on Roger

Marner and Draisaitl had better numbers. Marner had 94 points... Pasta could not ask for 8.5 or 10+

you slam Dubas all the time. If I recall correctly, you said it was Dubas' fault for the Mike Komsiarek contract.

Hey that's what it's about. You pay them so the contrcat looks good in the future. Did not take Nylander long.

What about 6.96, that's a good number too..

Also, who cares if Pasta is underpaid..

What does being underpaid have to do with anything? I was told it's all about the numbers and that's all that matters

agreed rj.

there are plenty of precedents of guys getting paid more based on being in the league younger.

not something that probably has to be argued about much.

Marner 103pt pace
Matthews 97pt pace
Connor 80pt pace
Point 77pt pace
Laine 75pt pace
Nylander 74pt pace
Boeser 71pt pace
Aho 69pt pace
Tkachuk 66pt pace

For the people who say Dubas overpaid. Other than Aho for obvious reasons, every non-Leaf signed 2-3 year deals and will be seeking massive raises.
