Don't want to be this guy....BUT....

There is a huge difference in "hits" and "intimidating" another team with hits.

Footnote: I am a guy that believes that the sport of hockey has a lot of unwritten rules that players grow up with....I don't think goons are in the future of hockey but Marchands and Thachuks are and SHOULD be a part of the sport.

That said, the Leafs have no balls, not really, in that way except Muzz and maybe one more guy...Holl, Hyman???

I did like to see Matthews stand up and get in the mix of the sh1tty Sandin hit last night.

Hockey still has muckers, it always should. It is the most brilliant part of the game. I'm always explaining it to the wife...this guy did this last game, this team always has our number........all the good story stuff that gets written behind the scenes every year and the whole "rivalry" thing is based on it. Besides talent, it is a part of the game too.

Not sure I agree with most of you or Dubas. The game is changing but if the NHL want US ratings and $ to grow the game...that stuff WILL stay and the Leafs need some.

If Dubas is good at his job, he should realize this and make sure the team isn't soft. Protect your assets with the right kind of toughness and say good bye to 1st round of the P/Os!!!

marchand did lead the playoffs in points last year, he is a good argument for offensive skill players

Just wish we had one forward like Tkachuk and one D like Manson.

I really believe that would completely change the dynamic of this team and the results would be ridiculous.

Also this Duane character should try being a Leafs fan since the 80s on for size. He thinks the Sabres' have had it bad? That ain't bad.

The stigma of hockey is awesome. Even beer league...you have so much bias for your team and you instantly don’t like the other guys

And then basketball is all buddy buddy.

I like the sportsmanship of basketball ball but ffs. Dudes are shaking the other teams hands as soon as they win the championship...go (frank)ing celebrate with your damn team that you just went to war with for 8 months.
