Actually it goes back to us being a contender for the cup convo. Marky’s got to play out of this world if they’re going to win a few rounds. Canucks have the scoring ability so it’s really on his shoulders.
That’s playoff pressure for you... - bloatedmosquito
Sure, but I'm of the opinion if we're to become a contender it's going to be more on the skaters to step up. Our goalies have done so already and maintained it.
On my list of players that need to find another level for playoff success, Marky and Demko are low. |

Yep, goalies are not the concern. All players need to elevate during playoffs. But to me, we need another forward to go next level and be the

Everybody on PP1 could be better. If we somehow get that going that's going to make an immediate difference.

I think they should start with PP2 for a couple of games - it couldn’t be worse |

No diet is sustainable, nor should they be. I basically dont eat any carbs for breakfast, lunch and eat whatever I want for dinner and dessert (never have dessert ever though) and I'll lose weight or stay what I am. I usually do keto for a month or two then take a month break just to let the body have a break. |

So you’re saying that you eat a balanced diet, very low carbohydrates, no processed foods. Strange that we have to call that a specialty diet. That should be the norm unless you’re an athlete or a physical labourer. - bloatedmosquito
Isnt it sad that we have to alter our diets and eating habits to make sure we get a well balanced + healthy assortment of foods. 1st world problems |

Not many places eat an assortment of food that ive been to. You’ve got your staples that are eaten in almost every meal in a lot of places. |

I think you're missing the gist of the conversation. Obviously Bloated didn't make his point clear enough. |

So the weak link is???
For me, Boeser i guess. If Miller is the puck retriever/shooter, and Petey is the setup/shooter, then maybe we nees a better net front/distuber with skill to play on PP1. Can we trade for just Byfuglien's ass? |

If we weren’t beating really good teams during playoff crunch, i might agree. This is usually the time of year where good teams beat us. |

The west is poop this year. My god, they are terrible when compared to the eastern conference. I think the Canucks have benefited from such poor competition, they appear better than they truly are.
Saying that, if they stay healthy they can run with the big dogs in the conference. But will keep my expectations very low for this post season so not to end up disappointed again. - bloatedmosquito
Sorry this is bull, Canucks have 30 wins, Boston has 31, Pittsburgh 32, Tampa 32, only team better is Washington 35. It’s called parity, exactly what Bettman wants.
I know you will have a comeback that they would only slot in at 7th overall, but with games in hand this entire league is close. No one division is better than the other. |
