Canucks lagging

I seriously just kicked the wife out of the room. She is a walking bad luck charm for Canucks.

If we weren’t beating really good teams during playoff crunch, i might agree. This is usually the time of year where good teams beat us.
- neem55

True, but the conversation was centered around what would make us a contender in the playoffs. Who would need to find another level in their play.

Surprised Green didnt dress at least 1 of the callups for this one. I know the "keeping winning lineup together thing" but 2 morning games b2b. A little fresh hungry blood already on EST might help.

I think we've seen enough of Myers + Fatburger together.

Schaller scored yesterday too...

Dont let goals get in the way of fair criticism

Take the dog for a walk at the end of the period, went a little long. Come back it's 2-1 Carolina and Myers scores a minute later.

Tempered expectations plus a good critiquing is always fair.

Schaller still sucks but Myers and Fatburger is still better than Myers and Edler and still better than Hughes without Tanev.

I prefer fatburger and stecher to be bottom pairing and log significant less minutes than our top 4 but that's just me

I love being entertained.

I'm already wrong on the score. Didn't think Carolina was capable of scoring two goals in a game

Sorry this is bull, Canucks have 30 wins, Boston has 31, Pittsburgh 32, Tampa 32, only team better is Washington 35. It’s called parity, exactly what Bettman wants.

I know you will have a comeback that they would only slot in at 7th overall, but with games in hand this entire league is close. No one division is better than the other.

It’s an opinion statement not fact. I started to form that opinion based on goal differentials between the two conferences. Then looked at other stats like goal leaders and goalie stats. There seems to be a noticeable tilt towards the east. But I’m sure there are stats out there that show it the other way around.

Myers and Edler was a (frank)en train wreck at 20 minutes a night together. I think it's just the lesser of the evils.

I like and also worry that Hughes is playing such a significant amount more than anyone else. Love watching him play and what he does, but do worry about how its affecting him long term.

He's small, resilient. A lot Hughes TOI is also powerplay time.

Grind gets to everyone but it would be nice to have Fat burger get a few extra of his minutes down the stretch.
