They are a good team. So are we.
Shoot outs are dumb.
Do 8 mins of 3 on 3 and its a tie if nobody scores

- Jkuzzi

Same rules for both teams and yes Shoot outs are dumb

This

But even then, if the outcome was reverse, the game is worse with the shootout than it is without it. Shootouts are a completely embarrassment to the sport

I like the idea of extending the 3 v 3

Although the Canucks were on a back to back away and in the middle of a road trip and played a tough game yesterday vs a good team in the NYI.

i am a bit disappointed because some players showed they can handle back to backs and others hardly showed up at all.

Nice. I work with another new CNRL tech and her boyfriend Rodger is doing RT there for that project with Acuren.

Like I said earlier, I would have injected 1 or both of those callups. It is not a slight against the fulltimers in my mind but checking out what we have before the trade deadlin, fresh legs and minds.

That could happen with any player on any team - luckily it's a team game and they had a big win yesterday, back to back afternoon road games is not easy. They played a good team today and fought back twice down goals. Todays loser point was one to be happy about.

Petey wanted the win today. Gamers want the win every time and are not happy when they don't win. Petey and I must be the same.

I probably would have yanked out Schaller and LE also. Carolina is one of the more physical teams in the league. Bailey and Mac are much more physical than LE and Schaller.

I agree. Old balls (Vantel) and I both agreed 1 point would be nice to get.
However.... The extra point was there and almost given away it seemed by the 2nd and 3rd shooters. Too slow to make the goalie think. You are not Jagr with a 12 foot reach.
I wish that we had another Burrows type shooter. One that had a move, you knew it was coming, but couldnt stop it.

Easier to say after the fact but maybe the Canucks don’t even get one point if both AHLers are injected into the line up against a quick Hurricanes team. Both call ups have some work to do when it comes to matching NHL speed. Gutsy one point in my book.

Showed resiliency just couldnt win the crapshoot, I liked the last 2 minutes going for the win other than playing in our own end defending. Canes had 3 penalties in a row so they figured they would continue to hold hook and interfere it worked, there was alot of it especially on petey. Crowd was crying for a penalty everytime a cane player fell lol.

It happens and they fought through it and got the come back point. That's another sign that they are a good team now.

Schedule set up for losses and Canucks come up with 3 out 4 points on the road against proven playoff teams desperate for points. This team is for real no doubt about it.

Could be my 2nd best prediction here. 😂
My best was EP’s 1st goal on his 1st shot.

Totally agree. That's a tough game for to be so many time zones out on back-to-back with afternoon games. The point tonight was great.

I was not impressed with Horvat or Miller's approach in the shootout today, but it's not like they are bad options. They just didn't execute today.

I didn't watch the game but I heard that after 50 years the Cheifs finally won.

I wonder who the 50 year team could be.

I predicted 38-24 a couple of weeks ago, thought it would be a close game. Pretty close. I also predicted Sherman on Kelce which was effective....not sure why they didn't do it more often. Crazy that Mahomes didn't even play that well and they still won, even though subpar Mahomes is better than most.

Happy for Reid, happy for Mahomes. Bring on the draft.

Andy Reid wins his 222nd game on 02-02-2020. The first palindrome date (same read forwards and backwards) in 909 years.
