I’d rather not trade Wahlstrom either but right now Dobson is the only untouchable prospect on this team right now. I’d be wary of trading Bellows but if they could pull some poop and bring in an All-Star type (not Hall) I’d do it. - potvin05
I would like to keep Wahlstrom if possible but would move him for someone like Dylan Strome. I would not move Wahlstrom for a rental. Same for Bellows in the right deal. |

I would make the deal schwein. Would work very well with the Isles keeping Dobson. - ses111
Man he looks better and better every game he plays. That kid is going to be a workhorse the next 10 years for them |

He's a stud. It doesn't look like anything phases him. He's clearly playing better with consistent playing time in Pelech's absence.
I still think they should go out and find a veteran defenseman to be the 7th guy. One more injury on the blueline and they're in big trouble. Boychuk still hasn't gotten his annual ~10+ game IR stint yet. |

Watched the 3rd period earlier this morning and was pretty impressed with Bellows play, particularly in the corner and on the boards. He looks like he belongs.
Also, Dobson looked good. They better not trade him, I don’t care who it’s for. In about 2 years, he’ll be the best defenseman on this team. Better than Pulock, who’s one of my favorites on the team now. - potvin05
Just flagged this by accident have no idea why they put the buttons so close together? I can’t see a trade where Dobson would be involved in. In fact I can’t see a trade at all😂 |

I guess he was loaned to BPT last night and now has been reassigned. Still interesting because now the Isles have no extra defenseman on the roster. Kings are in town tomorrow and BPT doesn't play until Saturday... |

I agree Vukota. You do not trade players like Dobson. |

I still want Aho to get in a game with the Isles. |

I don't see a need at this point. Nobody is hurt or playing poorly enough to get replaced by a young guy with minimal NHL experience. |

100% as long as the price is reasonable, which it should be |

Yeah, truthfully I think Dobson looks like he deserves the full-time spot and they can go out and get someone that belongs as a 7th guy. Not someone like Dillon who's going to probably cost more than he's worth. |

Just to give someone a breather. It's not 100% needed though. |

Maybe you should give him some pointers you don’t seem to have a problem getting rode all season. |

Well you could give him some time for the same reason Dobson should have debatably gotten a little more time earlier. So he can be adjusted in case there’s an injury and he has to be inserted into the line up. |

Yep! Does not mean you need to bench someone. Boychuk can always use a breather. |

If you’re referring to the greater Staal known as Eric, then yes, yes he would. |

Funny thing is Staal actually hasn't been bad this year. Just don't expect him to skate or move very fast. If he acts like jesus on the cross he is alright. |

Yeah then you have two rookies in your defense. Not ideal. Dobson would most likely sit. No real easy way to do it. |
