I have never understood the reluctance to try another guy... Marincin has struggled since day one with the Leafs. We all know what his upside is (limited if anything) and his downside is seemingly infinite.

Would recalling Ben Harpur send a good message to Ceci and Marincin? What have you got to lose?

I believe the Barrie experiment was a good risk to run ... great decision by Dubas.
But like any experiment, you have to decide going in what your success and failure criteria are.

I'm not hating on the guy, he just isn't what this team needs from its defensemen.

I never imagined myself saying this... but I believe the Tyson Barrie has less defensive and positional awareness than Jake Gardiner.... yes that Jake Gardiner. And that is saying something.

The Leafs should be all in for the next three seasons. Who cares about draft picks. We have our top 4 signed. We have a goalie. This is it for Leaf fans. Dubas needs to make whatever moves he has to to give us a chance at Lord Stanley. 1967 folks!!!! This is unacceptable.

Though the Buds haven't shown they have the heart or are willing to pay the price yet, this is the most talent on a Leafs team I have seen in my 37 years on this earth. I've seen 3 conference finals and numerous good Leafs teams. I've also see a lot of s-it Leafs teams. We have high end talent and a hopefully a healthy # 1 soon. If we have to move Goat, Timashov, Holl, picks, Engvall, Johnsson, or I hate to say it Kap for a top 4 dman...we do it. This is the window we have waited for.
