Rumour is that leafs are trading Dermott and Bracco for a defense from Minnesota. Not sure if that means Dumba or someone else.
Dermott unfortunately hasn't shown much growth which is disappointing. Doesn't mean he won't turn out to be a top 4 guy. Defense take a lot longer to develop but this team doesn't have the time to waste. - matt1337

Gotta go with a NO to Dumba. He's more of what we already have.
We need a defense first RD. Gotta be someone else we could get for Dermott and Bracco, if not, definitely for Dermott and Kap/Johnsson.

That's a really tough one. On the one hand, it'd be a steal to get Dumba for Dermott and Bracco. On the other hand, Dumba isn't what the Leafs need and his cap hit kind of sucks.
Probably should turn that into a 3-way deal and move Dumba somewhere else to get something they need. - JohnFergusonJr

Doesn't necessarily mean Dumba, could be Brodin. I do like the idea of flipping Dumba if it was him to another team that Minnesota wouldn't trade with. Parayko/Dunn or Ekholm maybe?

Canes were inquiring on Brodin but backed off after Hamilton was hurt because they want RHD instead.

Not sure I'd take Brodin. He's another kinda soft, LHD with a number of injuries in his career. Probably be an upgrade over Dermott though so it'd be a minor improvement but at a 4+ AAV cap hit.

Robidas Island was so successful, it's opening a new adjacent island called Ceci Island.
And that's where he should stay. Best thing about last night wasn't the trade, it was that piece of poop slug is out of line-up for hopefully the rest of the year.

Leafs are going nowhere this year. Cut your losses and dump Barrie. Dump Muzzin too if you can and recover wasted assets. Call up Liljegren and start planning for next year. - JohnFergusonJr

I've been saying for a while now that they might as well just name him MVP of the OHL. When you consider that he's 15 (16 now?) and 30 goals and over a point a game with freaking Kingston, just give him all the awards.
