Why do you get off on me admitting something?
I post poop on here all the time that ends up wildly wrong.
Hell years ago I posted that I thought Jurco would end up the best of Tatar, Nyquist, and Jurco. - Feds91Stammer
You and I have our moments on here and ultimately I respect your opinions because they are informed opinions, but man, you can high quality Richard, so like I said it does't hurt to have some humility sometimes. |

They are still generating almost identical scoring chances per 60 and hdcf/60 compared to last season. They need to right the ship though. It cost us last night's game and could have cost us Sunday. I'm not sure there is a rental player out there that fits our need though is there? Toffoli isn't anything special on the power play. - burgh4life87

Sucking and being overrated are two different things. Bjug is player who never lived up to expectations and FLA kept toggling him from the 3rd line to the top-six trying to make a top-six guy out of him and he's not.
Bjug is a solid 3rd line player and that's where he should be. - Rinosaur
I think Bjugstad is a useful middle 6 guy when healthy. He'd help them and he's better than anyone skating on their 4th line now. Still might want to dump his cap hit in the off-season though. |

Agreed and he's still my first choice to move because I feel McCann at 3C makes the Pens so much better. Also, I only say first choice because I don't think they can move Galch. |

Who knows, but it's kind of amusing. I do remember getting ripped by Feds for being too optimistic for suggesting Marino might be a bottom pair defenseman after a year in WBS.
I get why he felt that way, but Marino is a great example of why not to put so much faith in a stat based only on scoring just because he couldn't take the top offensive/PP spot from Adam Fox. |

His college production resembled Dekeysers which has hyped his way into an abortion of a contract. |

Yup. Sometimes you just need to see how a player performs. |

Also 3 D men on Harvard out scored Marino last season and they were all younger than him. It’s pretty easy to see why you would make a case against him being an NHLer. |

At least Murray made a couple big saves to keep the game within reach. Too many breakaways and odd man rushes for the Lightning imo. |

Murray was solid last night. You really couldn't fault him for any of those goals. One bad redirection, a 4 on 1 rush and a 2 on 1 rush with Stamkos. He had no chance.
The Pens played like crap, but Murray gave them a chance to stay in it and despite all of that, it was the PP that did them in. The Pens could have won on the PP even though they played like dogpoop. |

Crosby is still not 100%. His knee needs more time. |

Like I said, I get why you felt that way. You just tend to state your opinions as absolutes.
And again, that goes back to scoring not being the only defining factor in judging prospects. |

No Rust either. Malkin's LW is..... Agozzino.
I'm actually taking that as a good sign, looks like a placeholder for practice rather than shuffle lines. If not, boy is Galchenyuk buried. |

Jake Guentzal would have that knee at 100% in the matter of one game. |

But why didn’t he score more in an inferior league where he was older than many players? Did he suddenly just figure hockey out this summer? Or is his current production unrepeatable lightning in a bottle? |
