Sucking and being overrated are two different things. Bjug is player who never lived up to expectations and FLA kept toggling him from the 3rd line to the top-six trying to make a top-six guy out of him and he's not.

Bjug is a solid 3rd line player and that's where he should be.

A guy like him is all about how you use him. He's a skill guy who's great at protecting the puck with his body. He's a skilled role player and if used as such you can get use out of him. He's got solid zone entry/exit stats. Use him right and he can help. Play him above his paygrade and he's a bust.

Can't argue the health issue and if they can move him then good, but if they keep him and use him right he can be useful. Solid zone exit/entry stats and protects the puck well; these are useful abilities.

He's far better than Galch. Bjug got injured two games in, then only played eight games when he came back. I'm going to give him some benefit of the doubt here. He probably struggled coming back from the first injury. He scored 9 goals and 14 points in 32 games for the Pens last year.

Serious question, people reference TIOPS a lot on here, but I have never actually looked it up. Is it like a former beat writer that started his own blog or something? Half the stuff said from there just sounds like vague interpretations of actual reporters tweets.

TIOPS should always be taken with a grain of salt. I would put them on par with EK, but with a little more insider knowledge of the Pens. Most of what they report turns in to nothing, but they have been right in the past. Just entertaining for the most part.

Nah. I actually don’t really think he’s that good lol he’s an okay player in the same way that Galchenyuk is okay, as in average/below average.
