He's welcome to go thru anyone of my posts about ENHutchinson!
Was it weird that I always thought there was less chance for a goal against when we pulled the goalie???
Moar Grit Leafs tonight without ENHutchison and Marincin!!!!
53 - 0 Leafs!

A question? Simple one word answer. Could Barrie fetch a first rounder by the deadline? |

Barrie is going to get traded for assets that will help the Leafs get the defenseman that they want.
Book it. |

all of a sudden, the 'Dubas is right - Hutchinson is a decent enough backup' has disappeared into thin air... - MaximusAurelius
For every 1 Hutchinson is a decent enough backup' that was posted, there is 1 Max is a decent enough HB poster' |

I would think so...a 20-30ish pick
he is Cheap and puts up good offensive numbers.
I just think the Leafs value him more than a 1st |

Probably not though if we're out of the race at the deadline. |

Yes.
. . .and we should at least consider it if we make a trade for a D-Man with term who could fill in with some offense from the blue line in the next couple of weeks. |

I would not accept anything less than a 1st for Barrie. He's put up great production since Keefe took over and his cap hit is almost nothing. |

Good thought. Just feel that we really need to have our own first rounder this year. Some move hopefully. Be two years in a row. Still like the Muzzin trade for a first, but need to keep adding top picks.
Can't knock the second rounders we've been adding for sure. Go Leafs tonight!! |

Kyle Clifford: "Leafs are in good hands with Campbell, too. He never gives up on any puck. He'll fight right to the bitter end. It's good to have him here and I think the guys will appreciate what he'll bring to the table. He's just got this edge to him that's exciting."
But, Max told us otherwise.. Clifford is a franking liar... |

Agreed. When you invest 40% of your cap space into 3 players, you need to replenish your inexpensive talent from the draft or else you're in trouble. Even if the cap goes up to say $95m by 2023 after the new TV deal, that would still be 35% of the cap invested in Matthews, Marner and Tavares. By then you're dealing with contract increases for Rielly, Sandin, Liljegren, Hyman, and Andersen depending on who can and can't keep. If we can infuse talent like Sandin or (hopefully) Robertson on an annual basis, then it helps alleviate the pressure on the league minimum scrubs. |
