Dahlin for Malkin is nuts, But our first (protected) Mitts and say a prospect for Malkin prob is not too far off (for pitts its really about cap relief not production) . yes he can still play but he is 34, but would be a wonderful stop gap until Couzins was ready and would instantly give us 2 legit centers.

We should not be trading for Malkin. We should be shedding our FAs, dumping bad contracts and hope we hit in the 1st this year.

Trade Montour, Mitts and Reinhart in the off season. Hopefully in a package for a younger player we can build around. I don’t think Reinhart is a champion caliber player but could be a piece to get one.

Fill in around Jack, Cozens, Dahlin Joker, Goalofsson and this years 1st. Skinner too I guess since no way we can’t dump that bad contract.

Team needs a shakeup. Trading Eichel or Dahlin and we will never see playoffs this decade.
