Samsonite scores a goal in a loss two games ago and feels he is free of scrutiny so boasts to reporters after the game that some players need to step the hell up. Ok. Next game he lolly gags and a goal is scored just before the horn. For some reason nobody is talking about the shootout attempt. He coulda stepped the hell up. Bernie rivals Lehner in worst shootout goalie of all time.

Remember when Allen jumped over that dude and somebody made a video of him jumping over everything in the world? I would love to see one of Sam gliding into and out of things around the world. I am unable to do such a thing, but it would be hilarious.

What option in the organization is going to replace him? Thompson, Okposo or Sheary? Because there are no other top-6 RWs coming through the system for years , if it all. And if the answer is Cozens, who will play 2C, or 3C for that matter?

His entire career minus last year says different. He's always been the second line Batman, never really had a lot of talent around him and always put up numbers.

Everyone on the first line when healthy was having a career year it's no coincidence. Skins needs to step it up do what he's done his entire career and that's score goals without alot of talent around him.
It's on coaching to get the puck on his stick and let him drive the line in the offensive zonewhether it's him carrying it into the zone or whatever it takes. It's not on the coach to pander and play him with the superstar so he can replicate last year's pace at the expense of 2 established stars having career years and a kid that was going to be ROY before he got hurt. Try and get him some confidence on the first line till VO is back fine after that get him the hell away from line 1.

Well, with him and Risto you never know what you will get. He and Skinner had good/great years last year and look where that got the Sabres. Sometimes you need talented AND good soldiers to build the right winning culture. Holding on to your toys because you are attached to them is nice when you are little but no so much when you need results. We held on to our favorite toys during the Vanek, Miller, Pominville era and look where that got us.

Eichel does no wrong in your world while you wait for 0.2 seconds of a game to hang the loss on Sam and double double down on him alone being the reason the entire team, including Jack is soft.
You can't recognize the fact Sam is having another strong season, very consistent in his growth.
Jack's penalty is partially to blame, if that was Sam you would be all over him.
You hatred for Sam is running close to JGraigs railing on Botts.
