How just about every Sabre has to have a stupid nickname (ex : Skunk, 6K)

Stupid slang nowadays ("it's a bop", "stan", "basic", or other annoying social media sayings...)

Social media

And puffy vests. What good are they ? My arms are freezing in the winter - why would I wear a stupid vest coat that offers no protection ? Do people wear them because they think they look cool ? When I see someone wearing one I say "what a moron". They make you look stupid, not cool.

He's on pace for the same amount of goals and 8 more points than the most disappointing 2nd overall pick in the history of the NHL, Sam Reinhart. The way I see it, either Laine is a disappointing 2nd overall pick too, or sam Reinhart is better than people give him credit for

Of course playing with Scheifele helps the assist column go up but he is showing a better playmaking side this year. He is on pace for his best season at 5v5 in his career.

Where he is getting throttled this year is his PP production. He only has 3 goals so far this year whereas in had 15, and 20 goals on the PP the last two years.

I’d bet my money on Laine hitting 30+ goals this year, Reinhart will finish with 25.

On a straight line basis, he would project to 30.

We’ve done a fantastic job of getting that 2nd line center and just bringing in random guys like Olofsson to score 20+ goals, I TOTALLY have faith that would’ve worked out so easily

I assume the difference lies in the phrasing of "5-on-5" versus even strength.

Again, according to the NHL.com page, Laine has 3 PP goals and Reinhart has 5.

Even if you trade for one and cozens / mitts progress into good players. You can always trade away players to fit under the cap and gain some of that capital back for trading for a 2C
