My guy isn't inner circle so I don't usually hear what 89 and Homie come in here with.

All I've personally seen is speculation that the Sabres could be interested.

With Seth Jones out and the Jackets looking to make a push here, I think there's definitely a deal to be done, if the Sabres indeed are interested here. Just because we're trash doesn't mean we can't go after RFAs.

Let's be honest. It's the best way this team can acquire good players.

I do think we need to reset our expectations for the Sabres...

TDL - very little movement if any. Article after article, Insider after insider fail to mention any Sabre player when listing potential deals. No, they are not all knowing, and likely don't have a clear view on Hockey Trade variety, so something could happen, but the teams with space are few and far between. Who in the hell wants the crap they have available?

As an aside, the move to bring in Frolik might have been the dumbest move a GM has made in quite sometime. $4.3 Cap burned on an older player on an expiring contract (thankfully), he could have retained the 4th AND had Cap space to make a move...like taking back an expiring contract for another prospect/pick.
But hey, our PK improved 7% pts and likely saved 1.25 goals, LOL!

OFFseason - time to reset. Sort of.
- Free Agency, How many FA's are going to want to come to Buffalo and wantingly join this mess of an organization ...unless a significant overpayment is made? Players considering will reflect on recent player reactions; Lehner, Bealiueu, ERod, Bogo....and who else after this season.? Bad, very bad idea to overpay again. (Skinner, Okposo, Johansson...)
-Trades, Bott's best opportunity, but doesn't want to trade Risto (according to 89 and The Clown), Reinhart creates another hole, Montour (pride get's in the way?),

* get ready to resign some guys that will set this board on fire, because he literally will have to. Vesey, Girgs, Larry.

Can you blame him. Lol. You may get some people to waive, but not all. Until the team is respectable again, it’ll be a challenge. It’s certainly an extra layer of complexity for our whiz bang gm!

That’s a cool spot. I’m usually just to the left in 116... it’s a fun town. It’s nice to go and watch some impartial hockey. Or pull for the pens if it’s against the bruins or leafs. I’ve got tickets for the Sabres game coming up and I’m dreading it just a little... it will be cool to see jack and dahlin though....

The bills are starting to turn around their perceptions. Guys are starting to ignore the cold to play for the team. Guys are starting to notice.

The Sabres deserve nothing, and I don't blame a single player for not wanting to play here. If they can ever get their poop together, guys will look past the outside environment.

Didnt even know i picked the seats there when I did. Nice and relatively private nice bathroom with little to no wait. The site lines were nice.
The town was fun maybe a little more if i didnt have a 4 year old with me. Paying to park everywhere kinda sucked. If or when we go back ill probably just Uber everywhere.

Free agency- the big names will have zero interest in coming here but if Botchitall re-tools the bottom 6 you might get a few lower tier guys to sign here. Maybe he'll find another Curtis Lazar lurking out there.
