I remember a few months ago I said I wasn't liking Skinners game and all Hell broke out by the Skinner -Jissim crowd.

And then a few months before that I said damn, get off Risto's back. Just stop working him like a dog, top minutes in the league, and you will see the player he is.

Now people are doubting my astute knowledge when I say Reinhart is not all that? Doubt me at your own peril!!

I think I will play a song

Overall, Ristolainen has been the same player he's always been, which is some good, and some bad. He's just been playing less minutes.

His numbers have tanked as the season has gone along.

He’s the exact same middle pairing guy he’s always been

So I’m confused what he’s patting himself on the back for

He’s on pace for under 40 points, still a negative impact defensive player.

He’s fine as a #4 2nd pair defenseman. Get him a defensive partner. No need for montour then.

Joker
Risto
Miller
Borgon are fine on the right.

He’s the guy who needs to be traded.

Montour might cost 4.5-5 mil, but Ristolainen is gonna ask for 7-8 mil in 2 years going to UFA. It’s obvious to move him now with 2 years left on his deal

I think he’s better than Montour. I haven’t been impressed with him at all tbh. Doesn’t move the needle in any category.

Risto is better at offense and is the only guy on the team that will hit anyone. Same age

Big decisions this off season. It's time to make a call on Risto, Sam, and Montour. Can you really look at this group (+Larsson, Girgs, Sheary, and Vesey) and extend + overpay?

Oh I'm patting alright because he is having a good year. Come on, say it, I know it will eat away at you to do it but he is.

It was funny to read the other day where you stated Skinner is as good as some top wingers and better than his 50 pt career average. I'm like WTF? He's better than he shows? He has more to show? He' is better in my mind than he shows? I thought that was funny as Hell. Anyway, special teams matter.

I don't know about overpay, but out of the entire group you mentioned, I'd keep/sign Reinhart, Larsson, and maybe Girgensons (price pending) while not resigning/trading the rest.

I have no interest in signing Sheary or Vesey, and I believe they can get the forward help they need by trading Ristolainen and Montour. I've seen enough of the warts in the games of the four I've mentioned to be done with all four going forward.

Sheary has absolutely gotten away from what makes him useful. Vesey is fine at his price tag. He's certainly not an Option A.

Id trade Dahlin for a CERTAIN upper end 2C. Like I said before, desperate times call for desperate measures. We are desperate. If a deal could be made for Larkin, Id do it. Theres your Crosby/Malkin for the next decade.

There aren't many players Id trade Dahlin for, but Larkin is one.

Straight question- The stuff ROR was complaining about ... has it been addressed or was he off base ? And just wanted a trade ? Because he seems to be exactly what Sabre’s need ..

He and and Jack down the middle would be quite formidable ..

And what happened to the haul they got from the blues for him?
