Sabres have some interesting Dman coming up through the system with
Kreu
Kukkonen
Nyberg
Cronholm
Kreu is huge at 6'6

- Buff36

Kukkonen and Cronholm might have a shot at an ELC,. not sold on the others.

He went for a 2nd a 5th back when he was crushing regular 3rd pair minutes. I can't see anyone offering a close to the NHL scorer in the 20-22 year old range.

Idk, maybe we can get Bailey back

40 points in 45 games for the comets

The above is the second to say injuries have been an issue this season for Laaksonen.

I thought he was completely healed from his wrist. Maybe he has another injury going on. When you are fairly skinny as a defender, injuries can happen. He needs to add some serious weight.

It actually looks he's grown in height the past season based on the video. Could also just be growing pains of a late growth spurt.

He also had the very unlucky skate cut injury I believe last season.

saw that the other day, gave me a good chuckle

Hagel is having a very nice year. Im surprised he never got an offer with the Sabres, his WHL numbers were consistently good, put him in 2nd/3rd round company and they weren't loaded at forward or anything.

Yep. I know he's been on GR in the past, talked about Ruotsalinen, Davidsson, etc.

The haters will not like this

Eichel is the tide that raises all boats. Just ask Skinner’s agent.

I like how he skates and he has an ability to get his shot on net through traffic (Colin Miller you suck at this) but he gets outmuscled in his own end and loses battles. Teams target him. He’d be a liability in the playoffs for sure. Like we’ll have to matter.

Move him in a package

I agree with this, but I think next offseason would be better timing.
I would rather they move McCabe first.

Asplund going down makes complete sense.

Pilut going down does not.

- Pegullaville

They’re jerking Larry around. As for RA, I was thinking less of the structure of the team and more of my personal viewing interest.

Rousek is fifth in points among U-25 skaters in the czech league. Early days but I think there's something there.

Torrey Krug and Matt Grezlyck say hi.

Pilut and Risto had solid underlying numbers. He can get the puck to forwards and Risto can dump people in front of the net.

I doubt you'd credit Laine's success to Scheifele the same way you attribute Reinhart's success to Eichel

Pilut and Ristolainen were crushed 5v5 XGF/60 1.01 XGA/60 1.93
nearly double the expected goals against

His best work was with Miller (probably a more favourable role too)

XGF/60 1.54 XGA/60 0.88

No worries.

Very hard to tell with Euros. I remember the fan fare with Antipin coming over and was a bust. I do have hope for Ruotsalainen.

I never understood why Botts didn't offer Hagel an ELC, especially after he had an 102 point season for Red Deer. But then again he was a CHL player..

Needs to put on a little weight, but the kid can dish and put the puck in the net
