Is his job to order the straws?

I would guess the pissed comes from being embarassed nationally.
Let's hope that doesn't lead them to another emotionally-based, reactionary decision.

Hard to give up great seats. Better days ....... and all that fun stuff.

I'm %100 in again. Gluten for punishment.

- Boss34

Part of it is I made it though the tank so if i made it though that i can wait a year or 2 more.... right?

Plus not only is my family getting older, so is my best friends kids who are now getting to the age they are old enough to ride the subway or get dropped off by themselves. So giving them tickets is better than selling the pair for 68. Id feel better being "the good uncle"

In the perfect world my brother would give up his 200 level tickets and we would split our "families" tickets. But the perks of the 200 level are nice.

Excluding the Crosby year?

But of course. ๐Ÿ˜‚

- Powerslave

Let's see where Sam's nhl point totals fall?
(Excluding the eichel years)

1 assist in 9 games. Looked like a mini mite his 1st year.

.1111 points a game

I like the " good uncle " card.

My son, nephews , friends and other family members are just like everyone else. When the Sabres suck, no one wants to go.

I started with 4 great seats in row 3 up top. Then my seat neighbors were quiting and signed their (2) pairs over. All original aud seat owners. Now I have 8 in the 300's and a pair down low. (1-8) on the aisle.
Big $ when the Sabres pretend to be good at the beginning of each season. $30 season ticket cost.

$100 for Toronto fans

It's a second job selling tickets when they blow

I'll come off as a pegulas defender, but they care.
Can you seriously blame them for putting the Bill's ahead of the Sabres? NFL vs. Nhl ?

Also, who wouldn't prioritize their daughter who's a professional tennis player?

They fired brandon and a few other creepy touchy perverts and failed to replace them. That's an issue.

My understanding is they have stepped back and trusted the management team of botts/Kroeger.

They get criticized for being micromanaged, then for being to passive. Tough spot

- Boss34

They've owned this team for almost a decade and have driven it into a ditch. I don't blame them for wanting to focus on their football team but that's also why I wish they'd sell the Sabres to someone who wants to focus on hockey. They won't and at some point I'll end up in the same place I did with football, which is barely paying attention or watching. (frank) them.

Being younger of course they are Crosby and Ovechkin fans and as the sabres stink i dont care as much giving them the tickets. Its not like ill make a good profit on them.

I was hoping to move to the end 2 seats (im 3&4) for the extra leg room. The guy next to us before stopped by signed the seats over to a buddy last year. That guy asked me about me giving them up. The good news is we are going to get together and work out games where we each have 4 tickets seats 1-4. Which will help greatly in selling ( I made a lot more selling 1 game of 4 leaves tickets last year than 2 games of 2 tickets this year)
Also, with 4 I can take my son invite his best friend and his dad and we can go together to the game would be fun or in the case of if my best friend doesnt want to let his kids go alone then he can do the 4.

How I "sold" games this year was as always I listed all the games at the beginning.
I didnt mark up as high as I have done in the past like Bruins was 80 where it was prob 100 last year.
Friends and family to start if you buy or have bought multiple games before $120. If your buying one at a time $130.

Selling is definitely a second job, Stub hub is pretty easy to use so its just checking and making sure your seats are more attractive than others.

Bill's are good again, time to start watching again.

Sabres tanked for sam and eichel. Its also my belief that they lost for dahlin, svech or tkachuk also.

Bad hiring has hurt the pegulas and the Sabres.

Need to find mcbeane like taco has been saying.

Solid post. Tough business currently.

Having odd #'s of tickets (3 or 5) to sell works out great.
I found a guy with a limo company to buy all 8 seats to a few games this season. Doubt he wants them again.

Used all 8 seats about 4/5 games this year with nephews and family. Super fun having the ability to bring 8 and sit together.

The 122's I sell for $100 a pair starting in august.
Any Tuesday/ weekday type games.

Got lucky with a fellow 122er who is from canada and bought roughly 10 game again this year.
#networking

PM me if you here of anyone that's seriously giving up lifetime type seats. ๐Ÿค

Tuesday game is going for 6 bucks on tickpick and that includes all the addons you get on sites like stub hub. It costs 4 bucks to see a movie at McKinley mall thatโ€™s been out on DVD for two months. Just keep doing you Botts. Pretty soon kids will be treating games like we used to treat the old buckfitty show at appletree mall just a cheap place to get fโ€™d up.

I think we're missing the fact that it takes a lot longer to overhaul an NHL system than it does an NFL roster. Guaranteed contracts, shallow/overpriced UFA pool, and drafting 18 year old kids is a big difference.

Beane definitely did his version of selling low on Kane and RoR. You can recover a lot faster in the NFL. Has JB drafted well enough? TBD Most of his first draft are just at the point of turning pro.

The next 7 months are big for this Franchise, there's enough pieces in place, if the right moves are made and the middle 6 is fixed this team can be a lot better. And anyone not named Eichel should not be safe in the right trade.

Yeah, he would be next on that list. I will get slaughtered for this, but I am not as high on Dahlin as most people.

100% agree

That's why I think jbotts pitched a 3 year plan.

We're in year 3. Still strangled by okposo and bogo.
Moulson for his first 2 years

Easy to forget we traded ror and ek9 for futures.

I'm surprised about your dahlin take.

Your generally reasonable.

When scouts call him the best defenseman prospect since 1970. I wouldn't mind seeing if it's TRUE.

I don't want to trade him, but if the right pieces were offered, and made us a more complete team, I would seriously think about it.

We have every right to be angry as sth.

Straws, papertowels and hit water in the restroom aside, what really grinds my gears are the promotions.

Cheapest season ticket is $30

Kids day, general public $15 with an adult?

Shouldnt be undercutting our prices

It's been a painful year, and 8 D has sucked, but the idea of Dahlin + Joker on this defense for the next 10 years makes me happy.
