I don't want to trade him, but if the right pieces were offered, and made us a more complete team, I would seriously think about it.

I have this argument with my seat neighbor.

He loves dahlin.

I definitely realize hes young, but the upside is incredible.

Defensively he is iffy, and way to sweidh and non chalant.

The 2 games he missed though, man we were flat.
0 skill. Noticable difference without him.

It's been a painful year, and 8 D has sucked, but the idea of Dahlin + Joker on this defense for the next 10 years makes me happy.

Yes it does, and I understand that.

Like I said it would have to really push the needle to move him. I mean a borderline 1C-2C and good Highend winger could really push the needle.

We have so few players that generate quality chances: Jack, Skinner, and Dahlin.

So I went to the Game on Sunday (reluctantly) with my daughter. I went against my rule of not giving this team a penny more money mainly because my daughter has me wrapped around her finger.

I bought a fountain pop and the lady tells me, We are out of straws? How in the FRANK to you run out of straws? She tells me that they are switching over to a paper straw but the shipment has not come in yet.

This franking organization SUCKS Donkey Ballz...

Sounds like u were down there a day too late
Missed your chance to make your voice heard

Also,
You’re whining about a straw?
Instead of being all p!ssy you could’ve used it as a teachable moment with your daughter about how terrible single use plastic items are for the environment,
and what a cool thing is that they’re spending the extra $$$ (significant extra $$$ btw) to be conscious of the effect our daily habits have on the environment

But instead... u came here to b!tch... congrats

If they can get 2 players to step up in the organization, say Tage, Asplund or Cozens or even Rustolannon. That leaves 2C and a RW in FA depending on if you get a impact player in a trade. They need to fix the middle 6. That would have a huge impact on this team.

It's not about throwing them under the bus, it's about him taking responsibility instead of passing the buck to the players

The question he was asked was something like, "did you expect the team to be better?" And the answer was "yeah, we have guys who haven't hit their career averages. We need to find line combinations that work."

Instead of blaming the players for not producing to their averages, he could have taken some heat and said "you know, we may have put too much on Casey's plate, and maybe the roster construction had some holes we didn't foresee."

That's an honest answer that wouldnt make people roll their eyes

- jcragcrumple

So why didn’t you go to Saturday’s protest?

Still haven’t heard an answer to why you guys who are so upset would rather come here daily to b!tch, then take an hour out of your time to make a real statement

Complaining on here day after day does nothing
3,000ppl in the plaza would’ve made some noise that the Pegula would’ve had to act on

The sad truth.

I absolutely love, when they're talking about either a player by name or referencing "some guys", they'll say, he's either "playing well" or "struggling a bit". They NEVER SAY playing poorly, or bad, or any other synonym. It's kinda humorous.

- TheSabresTaco

Coaches & GMs shouldn’t be doing that publicly
Any kind of talk like that needs to stay in the room
Think Botts or Ralph are gonna go on WGR and say “Sheary sucks” is a fantasy

Because apathy is a more dangerous emotion for a franchise than anger. I'd love to see a protest home game, preferably on national television. If only 2-3k show up, that sends a message.

Ownership may already have the season ticket money, but the advertisers and NBC would be very unhappy showing that to a national audience. That would generate pressure.

Standing outside with a sign saying "I am upset" just shows you still care, which propagates the idea that no matter how poopty they are, people will still show up.

It's that notion that needs to be destroyed

Generate chances , which was the list of eichel, skinner and dahlin.

Skinner deal is the worst in the league.
Before he hasnt scored in months.

Not seeing that trade happening unless Larkin losses a limb or 2.

Crags, did you see the picture with 1 guy with a Sabres bag in his hand at the protest?

He stopped bye, purchased some merchandise, then protested.

Not sure if that will get the point across to the pegulas.

I paid, I'm going to the games. Sabres suck. But I still enjoy the games. Pregame tailgating ect.

Maybe you should buy all the remaining tickets to a game, then not use them? Really prove a point.

Solid post. Tough business currently.

Having odd #'s of tickets (3 or 5) to sell works out great.
I found a guy with a limo company to buy all 8 seats to a few games this season. Doubt he wants them again.

Used all 8 seats about 4/5 games this year with nephews and family. Super fun having the ability to bring 8 and sit together.

The 122's I sell for $100 a pair starting in august.
Any Tuesday/ weekday type games.

Got lucky with a fellow 122er who is from canada and bought roughly 10 game again this year.
#networking

PM me if you here of anyone that's seriously giving up lifetime type seats. 🤝

- Boss34

Networking is the big thing. Feel like each year ive picked up a few people who buy multiple games.

Ill keep my ears open for anyone dropping

I'll come off as a pegulas defender, but they care.
Can you seriously blame them for putting the Bill's ahead of the Sabres? NFL vs. Nhl ?

Also, who wouldn't prioritize their daughter who's a professional tennis player?

They fired brandon and a few other creepy touchy perverts and failed to replace them. That's an issue.

My understanding is they have stepped back and trusted the management team of botts/Kroeger.

They get criticized for being micromanaged, then for being to passive. Tough spot

- Boss34

You just don’t get it
They need to hire a “hockey guy” to micromanage Botts & Kruger

This has been my whole issue from the start
U think Shanahan was telling Lou who to trade for?
Nope
These Team President guys don’t have a say in things like -what line is Skinner playing on, or
-should we bring in Vesey or trade for Haula

They aren’t going to micromanage their GMs like that

Yeah, that's your prerogative and if I had seasons I would also find it hard to sit out a game. I have access to free tickets basically whenever I want, but I'm not spending a dime in that arena until structural changes to the franchise are made. I told Spectrum when I canceled cable it's because the Sabres suck. I'm voting with my wallet in any way I can.

Does it really mean anything if I, one guy, do this? Do they give a poop? Absolutely not. But for me, it's the best way I know how. If people want to picket games, or go to games, or whatever, I get it. I think starving them of oxygen has the best chance of success
