I'm simply pointing out the correlation between having a true number 1 and your chances of either winning or going very far. And just about all teams with a real number 1, won.

Because apathy is a more dangerous emotion for a franchise than anger. I'd love to see a protest home game, preferably on national television. If only 2-3k show up, that sends a message.

Ownership may already have the season ticket money, but the advertisers and NBC would be very unhappy showing that to a national audience. That would generate pressure.

Standing outside with a sign saying "I am upset" just shows you still care, which propagates the idea that no matter how poopty they are, people will still show up.

On any given night, 15, 25, 50+ percent (Toronto and Montreal) of the people in attendance are there for the opposition. When the team gets better, maybe the Sabres fans will attend. Right now our season ticket group sells off the Toronto and Montreal tickets to recoup the massive amount of money we are being charged for this dumpster fire.

Some may not know this but there are a ton of people of the north who are season ticket holders who will wear the teams of the north when they play and those tickets werent sold to people they are simply dressing for the occasion. Just like I wear my Kariya jersey for Duck games.

Ive seen the same guy where every single Canadian team jersey and I know he is a STH... and another is the guy who sits next to me gives games to his clients who are in face Canadian.

The whole its ok for an American to be fair weather is ok but how dare you sell to a Northern person is ridiculous. Have a former co worker who will ask all day for tickets when we win but once we started losing oh cant go cant do this and the excuses keep coming,.

Sure feel that way about every player. Of course they all had good teams. Do you consider Lidstrom great? He played on one of the best teams ever in the mid 90s Detroit. Doesn't make him not great nor not a franchise defenseman.

How long is the"Process" suppose to take? We are in year 9 of said "Process" i am really kinda sick of the "process" because so far the "process" is not working...Frank the PROCESS, Get real hockey players in here, not a bunch of 4 liners.

sell tickets get money
People will turn on the TV to watch Dahlin
Higher ratings more national broad cast
more national broadcast = more tv revenue
