Point was really meant to be about Sam's next deal. A lot of posts suggesting Sam should get 1.5m more than Larkin, yet almost everyone would say Larkin is the better player.

Ok so when you put up $10K of your hard earned money and watch your team mis-spell alumni names on jersey's, outfit them with poorly made knock offs, put a bad product on the ice, undercut their season ticket holders with buy one get one for 15.00 tickets while I am paying all most $50.00 each for mine and not having franking straws you can tell me to stop complaining.

And for the record if the Sabres EVER had enough balls to have an actual sit down with their season ticket base I would be more then happy to tell them exactly how I feel about the state that they are in.

Shero has 14 years as a gm and has built a cup winning team. Gillis has a number of years as a gm and there have been some interesting reads on his philosophical changes he’s thought through since his time in Vancouver. To think either couldn’t help botts and the team As a whole is just something we will not agree on.

I bet if you look up any of the successful teams in the last 10 years and look at their front office structure, you will see a ton of experience in hockey management and sports management/ marketing... buffalo, not so much...

That's far too easy to say, even if you didn't think Larkin was the better player, as he plays a position of dire need for the Sabres AND he's signed to a contract that is under market value.

Let's say they were both in the same contract situation this offseason. Who would you want if the contracts looked like this:

Reinhart - 5 years for a total of $37.5M ($7.5M per)
Larkin - 5 years for a total of $46.5M ($9.25M per)

Is it still so clearly Larkin?

And everyone being a female draft about the NHL draft ......

Mitts and lias anderson - both had very good world juniors and years before going to the nhl. The sky was the limit.

Right now, Lias is overseas and mitts is in roch
