Where will the Sabres be picking in 2021? Most would assume the top 10, but if JB feels this team will be picking 25-31, maybe he can get more?
- PrinceChill

Botterill moving Risto plus that 2021 first rounder (top 3 protected) would go a long way in making this team pick closer to 25.

I just hope he does nothing but sell this year though, we are so close to adding an absolute stud forward that could very well make us a legit contender for a long time.

The cap will go up a couple percent, not really news to anyone. I've taken a deeper look at comparables before. This just came up because people are obsessed with Larkin lately.
- Lunaion

The contract Larkin signed and what Reinhart signs are not comparable. It's like comparing apples to beach balls, especially when used as a means to decide which player is better.

He would be a perfect 2C for us. Young and could jump up to 1C if anything were to happen to Jack. He could help Skinner immensely.

Like I said earlier, he's the new Point. They aren't moving him.

I think what's interesting about Larkin is his age, speed and even his relationship with eichel ( assuming its good) USA teammates?

Seems like he would have some upside as well.
Could work with skinny too. Keep up anyways.

Not sure why Detroit would trade him? I guess if they were in for a suffering rebuild and not a regular rebuild.

So I went to the Game on Sunday (reluctantly) with my daughter. I went against my rule of not giving this team a penny more money mainly because my daughter has me wrapped around her finger.

I bought a fountain pop and the lady tells me, We are out of straws? How in the FRANK to you run out of straws? She tells me that they are switching over to a paper straw but the shipment has not come in yet.

This franking organization SUCKS Donkey Ballz...

That's on Delaware North, give Jeremy Jacobs a call.

If you don't view them as comparables, there's nothing to discuss. They clearly are.

It's fair to compare 2 guys with these similiar stats

Sam 387gp 107 g 143a 250pts.
Dylan 375gp 103g 150a 253pts.

GMJR said the Pens have been after Zucker for 3 years.

Man it’s so ridiculous that Botterill said it can take a while for moves to be made. It’s just totally untrue

How does the contract Larkin signed 2 years ago compare to what Reinhart is going to sign?

The original Kessel deal was to Minny but he nixed it. Zucker would have been a Penguin months ago.

Wouldn’t the more prudent move be hanging on to the 2021 1st? It’s not as if this team is anywhere near competing for the Cup. Heck, an 8th seed seems to be a bit of a fantasy.

Jeremy Jacobs, owner of the Bruins, sewing seeds of discontent in Sabres fans by shorting concession stands of basic materials. Clever, and filthy. Worthy of renowned underhanded Boston chicanery.

I'm with you. I don't think we have enough talent at any level to start moving our own 1st's.

female doging about female doging hasn't stopped the female doging here either. If anything, I'd say it created about 7 pages of female doging

Big game tonight with potentially HUGE implications. Rooting for big OT win by the Shairks tonight. Imagine if the Sabres got a 2020 1st for Kane and traded it away for Montour? Holy S, would’ve been able to draft the Sedins! Don’t think I’d go as far to say there would be riots in the streets of Buffalo, but definitely protests. Crisis averted.

The Sabres are better then their record indicates. Goaltending sunk this team or else we’d be in the thick of the playoff race. I have a hunch we’ll be looking at this year as a blessing in disguise a few years from now when we’re adding a stud on an ELC to a team that will be primed to compete.

This year for the Sabres is reminiscent of how the Bills were able to add an Ed Oliver last year before taking off this year. What’s going to resonate more with you a few years from now ? Having a potential Pro Bowl game wrecking talent on the d-line or the playoff loss in Houston ?

The Sabres have a great opportunity to add a game breaking forward while making the moves necessary in the offseason to make us a playoff team next year.

I’m very happy to be here.

Wouldn’t you rather have a top 10 pick in 2021 than getting swept out of the first round of the playoffs?

I wouldn't, rather make the playoffs and give these young players a taste of what it's like, would be huge for them.
