The bills are starting to turn around their perceptions. Guys are starting to ignore the cold to play for the team. Guys are starting to notice.

The Sabres deserve nothing, and I don't blame a single player for not wanting to play here. If they can ever get their poop together, guys will look past the outside environment.

They cannot trade their way to relevance. They cannot sign John Tavares or Artemi Panarin for nothing. These aren’t options for us.

And that’s really what the Bills did. It wasn’t the “culture”. It was good drafting and FA pick ups

It was getting Matt Milano in the 5th round

And Tre White at the end of the 1st

And getting Jordan Phillips off waivers

And Poyer/Hyde etc.

The Bills also have about 4-5 guys in the front office who will be vying for GM jobs at some point.

Cozens becoming a stud is at least three years from now. It took Jack five to get where he is presently.

I agree. Ultimately, they completely flushed the personnel side, from top to bottom. brought in guys who know what they're doing and can set a culture.

What I mentioned before is not really directed at the low and mid tier free agents. It's trouble attracting the top guys. I think the Bills are close to being able to land a top guy or two, if they want to.

And no, teams are not built around FAs.

Think the more urgent position is center. Try him out at 2 or 3 C. You're probably sending him back to Lethbridge regardless. it seems like he took his physical development pretty seriously.

Keep drafting high. He needs teammates to play with.

Starting is the key word, here. The Athletic did a survey of pro bowl players, and Buffalo is still the destination a lot of guys don't want to go.
