Adding grit that can't play hockey like Lucic helps the team out a few times a year. It's just not worth it for 6 million a year.

Ferland can still play hockey. He doesn't need to fight or kill people with hits.

Ryan O'Reilly has 15 hits in 56 games this season. Drais has 22 hits in 55 games.

Not always about hitting. Being strong on pucks. Leaning on players.

The players brought in haven't been as expected and I think that's where something does need to be changed and give someone else a chance to do what they wanted out of those players but with more upside.

Ferland should look at life after hockey. If he does come back i'd be surprised if he finished the season. Shut him down.

There is a massive difference between Vancouver and Boston, I wish our team had half the balls Boston plays with.

Vancouver has skill, lacks toughness, both are need.

I wasn’t comparing the two.

My point is - Boston as tough as they may be (based on what exactly?) still face the same problems other teams do - their reputation doesn’t deter other teams from taking liberties and last night is a perfect example of that - they won the game by not retaliating

I’m willing to admit my 87 is way low, and your 96 (?) is more appropriate now. I don’t think it’s possible to miss the playoffs at this point. Even a 4 game loosing streak hasn’t changed things much. I don’t think they will win the division, but they will be top 3. Calgary v Vancouver in round 1!

I said 90-91. I think we all know who was predicting 104 and waving the pom poms huge a few weeks back lol
