I don’t think I’ve ever seen Beagle throw a check? He can’t build up enough speed and when does the other guys just turn and he does a fly-by because he has no lateral movement

He’s one of the first guys to grab someone in a scrum though, couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag, I’m sure Vantel and his 150 lb popeye arm could tune him in.

Point is Canucks are IMO the softest team in the League, until Benning addresses that issue, or Green, I have a hard time believing Virtanen is shying away. I think Green is telling guys to shy away.

I know it’s not popular here, but I like Boston’s toughness and style of play, and the Canucks could use a few hard open ice hits.

Just got back from checking out the hometown hockey stuff here, I gotta say Ron Maclean has impressive stamina for his age. The guy was all over the place doing tv segments, taking pictures, talking to people and hes been going all week, it all must be exhausting.
