Just got back from checking out the hometown hockey stuff here, I gotta say Ron Maclean has impressive stamina for his age. The guy was all over the place doing tv segments, taking pictures, talking to people and hes been going all week, it all must be exhausting.

I heard because of the lack of excitement in Yellowknife HNIC doubled the salary for any alumni that went.

Lanny and Wendell would never pass up another fifty bucks.

Yeah unfortunately there's entirely too many Oil fans here. I was actually wearing my millionaires hoodie but it was partially covered, my pettersson jersey wouldnt fit over my coat.

I did see a couple other canucks jerseys, saw a dude rocking a Kesler one

Too quick as always. Unfortunately it wasn't really a vacation. Was dealing with 79 year old Dad and getting him back and forth to VGH for minor cancer stuff. Big city is too daunting for him now. So it was fly from the Anus down to Vancouver, pick him up from ferry, and a night in downtown in hotel. Back over to the Island to drop him off. Fly from Comox straight to the Arctic tundra for work.
At least I smelled the awesome air, saw the ocean and the colour green!

He doesn't play a heavy game and his skill is just okay. He can handle himself in a fight but there is nothing showing yet that he is a NHL player.
