Yeah, I couldn’t take the group think going on. Someone has to have a fresh or different view/line on this horse shat site. - nyisles7
Like maybe a Frozen gif or reference to shat signings? |

No I was thinking more like Varlamov soft play, and Lee’s shat play lately. I have more but too many to list really
- nyisles7
😂
Serious question(s). Why does it bother you so much when someone points out that either Lee or Varlamov haven’t been playing well when they haven’t been to anyone that’s been watching them? I honestly have no idea wtf upsets you so much that you have to take a time out when people discuss hockey the good and bad on a hockey site? |

All fair points. He has the all around tools, is smart and is mature beyond his age. His only weakness I see is in the d zone and it’s more being able to handle the physical part and quickness of the forechecking game in the NHL vs the skating or passing aspect. He’s gonna be real good. - nyisles7
he reminds me of tavares as a rookie when he was knocked all over the place cause he wasn't strong enough. dobson has fared better though but is 19/20 so has a year on him |

Dobson has a long way to go. He’s got to pack some pounds on and adjust to the speed of this league. We can all see he is going to be good the only question to me is how good? |

he already has the poise and hockey sense to play at this level he just needs to get his man strength. If I had to project I would say he will be the best defenseman on this team in 3 years. to be clear I mean all around, pelech is a great defensive d man |

This site is no different than any other. It’s all the same crap. Highs when the team wins and usually critical analysis when they don’t. Same as every thread on here for every team. Same as every, single, other Islander site. |

I would say that’s a three horse race between Pulock, Pelech, and potentially Dobson on how he develops(waits for 7’s head to explode ). Either way we’re in a pretty good position defense wise for the next 5 or six years. |

If we're trying to pick a comparable player, I'm guessing Marc-Edouard Vlasic. Minute-eating workhorse that can play all three situations, but isn't a huge producer of offense. Strong in his own end, moves the puck well...just not a 60pt per season kind of dman. Maybe 5g-35a-40pts kinda player. 1st unit PK, 2nd unit PP. |

If Dobson is not a 60 point dman you trade him. |

pelech is the best defensive player and pulock offense player on d although leddy has a say in that but as an over all player I think Dobson will be the rare combo that can play in all areas of the game on d and thats rare |

It doesn’t. It just bothers you so I do it.

Speed of the forecheck as well. That’s going to make you rush and make mistakes. When he grows (and he will, because he will get marching orders this off season) he will be able to absorb the hit or roll off the hit and use it to his advantage vs disadvantage seen now. |

Yes, I agree. Honestly most kids coming in the NHL deal with. The same thing.
He will be fine once he add some muscle.
