Hickey could play as early as this weekend if the week goes well (BPT plays four in six beginning Friday).

If this team starts to play the way we all know they can I would trade a first for the “right” rental without even thinking about it. I mean for the most part we don’t know whether any, one, player may wind up enjoying their stay and sign with us. I think we all forget how hard a time we have attracting FA’s and trading a first to have a kind of long interview and shmoozing time period with a player we like is also a potential, big positive for us.
If we start tearing it up again I’m having a real hard time understanding anyone who wouldn’t trade our first for a potential rental? We’re kind of in our window right now with a fairly old roster saving that pick to me is more of a risk then trading it for a good player that may push as over the edge.
