Tierney and Girgensons come to mind.
- Wildschwein

Tierney would be nice. I imagine that Marleau would only accept a move to a contender, if at all, but I would have no issues with him filling in at center, and then sliding back to a wing spot when McD returns. I really think things will be a mess tonight, have to think they break up the Drai line to have RNH back at center.

No other choice really. I just hope they keep Yamamoto with Draisaitl.

Fun fact: since Nov 1st Lucic now has more PP goals than Neal despite the fact that Neal has gotten like twice as much PP time and has the advantage of playing with two of the most dynamic players in the league.

It’s called having a winning mentality.

You wouldn’t understand. Only Edmonton fans celebrate losing and 1st overall picks.

I'd hardly consider that "fun".

So who can play the off-wing on the top 2? We have no real LW players. Gagner, Archibald, Chiason?

Hmmm...

You know, maybe they should just keep Nuge-Drai-Yammo as a line.

Scary as it sounds, but I think I'd play Haas as 2C.

I could live with a Archibald-Haas-Kassian second line, if it kept the main line together.

Realistically speaking what 3rd line centre is available that would cost next to minimum (since we all know holland doesn’t want to part with key prospects/picks). Not to many options out there unless they acquire a 4th liner and hope he can have one of those “new to the team” hot streaks.

He's been off the McDavid line for 25 games champ and leading the league in points but hey...keep trying lol

3 assists for Draisaitl in less than 60 minutes so far.

Yup. He’s definitely reliant on McDavid.

Since being put together with Nuge and Yamamoto on December 31st, they've played 15 games with Draisaitl scoring 27 points (9 on the PP). I recall that duo scoring once at even strength as their lines were mixed up following a PK and it might've happened one or two more times, but those points have largely been a part of his work on the line with Yamamoto and Nuge.

Facts are fun when you know what you're talking about.

I have decided that people will now just hate on him just because and no matter how much logic you bring into it or facts you will never change their minds
