Isles simply are not at the point they can have quite offseasons not brining in outside talent. It did not work for Garth and will not work for Lou. Teams around the Isles try to improve every year. Some teams it works very well and others not so much. The fact is they at least tried and understood they needed improvements. - ses111
Yep, with a bunch of core players in their prime and some of the contracts they have, the time is now. They have to go for it. But give them some credit, they did make a serious pitch to Panarin. It's not like they are doing nothing. |

This is the thing. Isles are not exactly a young team. If the Isles were rebuilding, there is not the pressure to add like there is now. |

Bellows and Bardreau out tonight along with Aho. All three on for extra work. Likely means Komarov moves to 4C. |

Would have been interesting to see Aho go against a speedy Vegas team. |

To join in the ongoing saga/debate on the current roster, I don’t think this team is that far off from contending. We never replaced JT and I think that is the primary issue. Barzal gets all the attention, but if we had another top player he gets a break once in while. All the top teams have that. Crosby/Malkin, Bergeron/Pasternak, Kucherov/Stammer (and 5 others), Ovechkin/backstrom(plus 4 others). Obviously goaltending is key too, still wish we had Lehner. Varly is not as good. |

That’s a pretty solid largemouth, no?
We don’t have them here unfortunately. How’re they for eating? |

That’s great size largemouth. If he’s in Florida that’s probably average, I think the state record is pushing 20 lbs. I live north of Albany NY and that would be a monster, we usually catch 2-3lbs being nice sized, 5lb is the largest I’ve caught. No eating, although you could. Too fishy tasting for me. |
