I don't think they played scared. They just didn't move their feet. They need to play faster. Move faster and move the puck faster.

That was two years ago. Last year they were “really really good” at hockey and got absolutely embarrassed. Then it took them half a season to actually get over how pathetic they were last April.

But my point is, that this team is beatable. Like any other team in the NHL on any given night. The Flyers played scared that first period and that is not something we’ve seen out of them this year.

Every team is beatable. My personal opinion is being a team that has a playoff spot wrapped up early and coasts down the stretch is at a disadvantage. I'd rather be the team that is surging and battling heading into the playoffs.

Niskanen came to Hayes defense, he’s getting mugged by three Lightning players and no Flyers comes to his defense? That was shameful.

Luke Schenn is running around trying to take guys heads off and no one even chirps him?

Refusal to take shots, poor passing, reverses on breakouts instead of moving with speed. To me that’s playing scared. Want to go with showing too much respect, sure, we can.

I'd rather they not have to play every game for 2 months like it's a playoff game so they're not gassed once the playoffs sctuslly start.

Comfortably battling for the 2/3 spot would be nice. A cushion against missing, but still incentive to win.

Making the playoffs means playing one of Tampa, Pitt or Wash. Throw in Boston but i think its Tampa's division at this point

Konecny hasn’t really done this much this year but don’t be a guy who’s mouth writing his ass can’t cash. In the past I really haven’t like that aspect of his game.
