Why would we want him? We will have a bit of cap space over the summer and no need to wreck it by using it on PK

Holland is good at surrounding stars. Like McDavid and Draisaitl. He hired a very good Head coach in Tippett. He obviously learned his lesson with Blashill. Unfortunately for Yzerman, he'll be spending the next few years cleaning up Holland's mess.

I really think AA will explode after he's out of Detroit. He has his defensive flaws. His hockey sense isn't exactly Couturier like. But you can't teach speed and he's one of the fastest skaters in the league. Plus he can finish. He's a perennial 30 goal scorer IMO.

I wonder if having Tippett as a coach as opposed to Blashill might fix some of his defensive flaws....won’t be perfect but a step in the right direction....I’m sure it will cost us a first and I don’t know what from there....maybe Puju and another prospect

AA just needs a center who can do all the thinking. He's a pure speed burner with goal scoring hands. He's dumb as a bag of rocks. If he's not thinking then he's scoring. Tippett would be very good for him. Simplify his game.
