Hilarious that Julien got double the fine that Chara got.
(frank)ing insane. - GreatGigInTheSky
Yup. 10 000$ for speaking the goddamn truth after a horrible night for the refs.
5000$ for cross checking a guy in the face.
Good job NHL. |

Fun watching the lemmings in their $150 jerseys flooding out of Buffalo after the Sabres made it 5-2. Classic mocking by Eichel.
Every hockey season is great. Even if my team doesn’t win I get to watch the Leafs add to their half-century long period of futility.
It is a no-lose scenario every year! |

It's been an awful season for the officials/league but holy (frank), this past week has been a mess. |

stop whining.
even if the officials aren't doing fine, all the teams evenly benefit / lose from their bad officiating.
the narrative that leafs lose because of bad officiating is such a pathetic excuse. |

Right which is why the leafs are on the negative side of video review calls. And why the leafs and at the bottom of the league for pp opportunities.
Gwg scored off a bad call, but the refs didn't impact the game. 2nd Buffalo goal off a missed call, |

Watching the replay....
What is Barrie doing on the first goal?
Dermott is covering the left side already
Barrie decides to also head that way. Leaves man alone, puck bounces off end boards with Freddie frozen in time |

After that one fan went nuts on Sabres fans a few weeks ago I was feeling bad for Sabres fans. I am happy we can make you guys this happy with one loss |

I know a lot of you disagree but I'd flip Kap for Anderson today if he is healthy...If not I'd do it in the offseason all day.
While Kap offers a really special skill in his speed Anderson can drive a line far better when healthy. |

I would make that trade too if I'm the Leafs. I'm not sure Columbus would. |

Doubt CBJ would want to help the Leafs right now.
I'd figure it they were to do it now it would have to be Kap one for one. |

small sample size. It really doesn't bother me.
Kapanen has one goal in his past 18 games. |

I think they would if they cant work out a contract extension.
Unless they want picks but I can't see it. |

People are losing there poop over the inconsistency of it all. That's the biggest part IMO and its so obvious. Plus some players get away with murder, while other players can't even breath on someone without spending time in the box. What infuriates me the most is when the far ref who has no clean view calls it, but the ref right there let's it go. Just tells you that each ref dictates a penalty differently and that shouldn't be the case. Its either one or isn't, not a could be or a maybe....

I hope hes not a wing, habs or sens.
The wings have had decades of good hockey, id like to see them suffer a little longer - Fakepartofme
Laf is going to be a Sabre after they miss the playoffs and win the lottery.
Sens are going to get two damn good players in the top 5. Damn Sharks.
Eff the Sens TWICE! |

Just imagine what they'd have if that boob dorion was smart enough to lottery protect the Byram pick. |

I just don't get the Love fest with Anderson.
I get the size aspect, but the dude is going to get paid after having a miserable, injury plagued season. |

I don't get why people think this will happen.
Probably gets a 3 year deal that takes him into UFA at 28 so he can get a bug deal.
He could do long term at 5 but I think if he wants to maximize dollars he will take 3 years.
I think him and JT would mesh well together. And as much as I like Kappy he hasn't been a great fit on any line and I think it is because he is a very North South player which hasn't worked great in Keef's system. |
