Nah, none of those guys have proved anything. If Buch was 5th in points in the whole league as a forward would you trade him because we had a good farm? Thats insane - mdw7413
I'd rather see Skjei go, no doubt.
If Kreider signs for 7mil and ADA for 5-6mil...then who is going?
Will h that said, I think that Skjei and Hank are gone. I know about Hanks NMC but with him being third goalie, I just have a feeling that he's going to be open to be moved.
Complete confidence in Gotta and JD. I think we'll all be happy after trade deadline |

I don't understand why people are saying that rangers are improbable to make the playoffs. In the past 2 days every wild card team lost except for the rangers. On top of that the rangers are on a 4 game won streak, playing 2 potential wild card does this week.. if the rangers win today this should be a sign that they are serious about a playoff run - Ari123
Its just percentages, doesn't mean it can't happen, but its a long shot |

ADA I think has to be the priority over Kreider, I have almost accepted CK is gonna be dealt. Sign Tony to a long term deal today, lock him in - B2B76
Yup. And lets say Nils, Keane ect all work out as great players and Tony is still playing awesome. It makes anyone of them easy to trade down the road for a decent return. |

I just think Tony is more of a priority over Kreids. Would love to keep both, and I hope they do, but I'm keeping the young defenseman who is one of the best point producers in the league every single time |

Would be huge to win today, that would put us even with the Panthers, though still 3 wins out. Have to hope against hope that we keep winning and those teams above us go on losing streaks. Like I said, not impossible, look at the Blues and Kings. They were exceptions.
Another variable is trades. Kreider goes, what does that do to the heart of the team? A few more wins might make Gorts think twice about trades, but again, how do we sign ADA and Kreids? Hank and Staal aren't going anywhere. |

I have to wonder that maybe Hank is going to retire and management knows it. Maybe reason they haven't/won't trade Georgiev? If this goes passed the trade deadline, then this has to be the case. |

This!
Assuming all of our prospects turn into serviceable players, would be the first time in ages that we could trade a player for a good haul and maybe not impact the team as much. |

Like I said, I think. HANK might be open to trade after what's been going on with his playing time.
Who'd a thunk that Hanks greatest contribution to NYR in his career would be him accepting a trade and giving 8.6mill in cap relief!?

Rangers have 2 games in hand on everyone. We can always wait until the off-season to take care of the numbers.. I believe the hurricanes will jump to a wild card spot and that last wild card spot is open to anyone. If we beat the bruins the management aren't trading anyone since they know we are in the hunt and want to make the playoffs. We shall see today |

Crazy to think this, but still 30% of the season left. Long time to go. If, and big if, they win the games in hand, then everything gets major compressed with a quarter of the season remaining. |

Possible. Hank is a proud competitor and seeing how hot Shesty is might make him realize his time is past. It's hard for a player of his caliber know when to hang up his skates, especially with only one year left on his contract and not knowing what happens after next season. I have no doubt he wants to keep playing, this must be killing him.
Make him Allaire's overpaid assistant. |

I'm sure Dolan is missing playoff revenue and might be leaning on JD/Gorts to make a push.
I haven't given up on the season yet. Like Jan said, anything can happen in 30 games. |
