The Wild West is a mess. Besides the reigning Cup champs and banged up Avalanche, there’s not a team there they can’t hang with in a series. Why is a first round exit guaranteed for the Nucks in your opinion? Honestly curious. - DrunkenCanuck
Exactly. It's his opinion which he's entitled to. It's not a fact. |

actually believe Kerfoot has been as a winger for Tavares... but absolutely not as a center... not sure what his face-off stats were... almost doesn't matter. Clearly Keefe doesn't want him playing in the middle - and neither did Babcock.
but UGgy is partly correct on this... not that Kerfoot is bad - he isn't, but he is expendable....
unfortunate that Johnsson is now injured, which limits what Dubas can do - or it will be the excuse he uses for not doing anything.
the team needs a couple of more guys who play like Hyman plays, perhaps with lower production, but a two way responsible guy who can muck it up a bit, who's not easily tossed from in front of the net or along the boards.
move Kerfoot & Dermott (assuming the Muzzin is going to be signed)... should be able to garner a defenseman
move Barrie for picks or prospects... or if you can bundle him with one of the guys above.. then perhaps a Dumba - BorjeFan4Ever
Agree with these points. Need to recover some decent pieces for the Kadri trade. If you're playing on the JT line you need to produce a ton more than #15 has.
And I wouldn't be surprised to see Gauthier moving either. Been a healthy scratch a lot of late. And not been missed.

It's either Vegas, St. Louis or Edmonton.
2 out of 3 is a 1st round exit. 50/50 on the 1 out of 3. |

Can we give the god damn troll his own thread to blather on incessantly over nothing in and lock him in there like he is down in his mom's basement for real? PLEASE? 15 pages and like 10 are his utter nonsense spewing crapolafest. Beyond old at this point.
Jonsson's injury sucks but well we do have the cap space and we do have options so be interesting to see what Dubas comes up with to shake things up because clearly we absolutely need more than Cifford and Campbell here. Good move but we need to fix things and we have a chance now here to really make things interesting.
Honestly injuries this year really have put the depth to the test and we just have never really had our full team out on the ice at one time. Something we got lucky with really last year far more than this one. - Roadrunner75

I have no idea what he was thinking.
Apparently The Blues are done because they got Trouba.

Would y'all be good with trading Barrie for a pick/prospect at this point with no roster player coming back? I'd be tempted... |

Yes. Do it. You can add those to Johnsson/Kerfoot/Kapanen/Dermott for a legit top-4 with term who can play well defensively.

His play makes asking for a first tough... But at his salary I would want a 2nd and a pretty decent prospect. At that point I would trade him... |

Absolutely yes as long as you use that return to get a real partner for Rielly.

Dumba is just Barrie who hits more. Seems wasteful.

I like him, but I also see someone who is caught out of position often.
Things have sure changed. Good positional d men who couldn't score at all were a dime a dozen years back, now it's all 'puck movers' who can't stand in the right spot. |
