I'm still here.

Freddy is having a bad stretch for sure right now (it started before he got hurt and now he is trying to get back up to speed after being hurt IMO) but he's still a top tier NHL goalie and has been for a number of years.

He has been in the top 5 for the past 6 years.

All the finger pointing and blame laying at the guy is laughable. Most teams would kill to have had a goalie as consistently good as he has been for a measly 5 million per year. Does he have bad / terrible games - yep, just like every other goalie in the league does. You can't expect your goalie to be the guy who makes 10 bell after 10 bell saves game in and game out, once in awhile when he is having a bad game you need to pick him up - the Leafs rarely do this to any goalie and haven't for years and years.

And if you want to chirp about his play this year look at the fact he is putting up numbers very close to C. Price #'s for half the cost.

Leafs need better D. Both guys who play D but also team Defense.

I feel more comfortable actually having an opinion on a player and sticking with it than go from 'Andersen is a vezina calibre goalie' to 'trade Andersen - worst five hole in the NHL' in just 6 months, yes..

You're right about Barrie, I do not see him being traded, unless the Leafs give up on this season..

There were reports that Josh Anderson is available from CBJ, but from what I've read the Bruins are willing to include a 1st rd pick. We can't match that.

Leon Draisaitl is super overrated. Despite racking up PP points, he has a 47 % Corsi and the Oilers have been outscored with him on the ice at 5v5.

They are going to give him the least deserved Hart Trophy in NHL history.

I'm startin to see what ya mean. I think columbus,carolina and philly will finish higher then the Leafs so wild card spot is not really in the cards. Habs seem to be to far back to catch anyone. It basically looks like its down to who will have the best last 22 games between Florida and the Leafs. Leafs so far with the tie breaker advantage. Leafs need two big trades in six days. Top line D and a really good vet 3rd line center. Hurry the (frank) up Dubas....
