Without engaging that obvious troll putz... The basis of the rule is that you have to be able to see white ice between the puck and the goal line (both of which you also have to visibly see).

The ability to see all 3 components removes the ability for camera angles, shadows, gear, etc to factor into a possible outcome.

Does the idea that you can't draw in lines into a freeze frame and say a blob blending in with gear is the puck when you can't even see the (frank)ing line let alone ice in between... Actually have to be explained?

Won't work.

I did something like that a year or so ago and was told to stop. They'd rather have active trolling/thread baiting than get rid of the clear and obvious issue.

Plus, they weren't a Leafs fan, so this thread doesn't concern them.

I think this would be a great point but Rielly hasn't been the best defensively. That's a big reason why they need to get him a RHD partner that knows how to play D.

Their d wasn't very good with him in either though.
