It’s a joke at this point. Getting sick of watching these guys mope around on the ice. Effort hasn’t been and isn’t there. Hasn’t been for a while. Started seeing their game unravel after the point streak ended. Fans will blame the Pelech injury but it was happening before then.

They were playing 500 hockey in ten games before he got injured. This team has lacked the effort, will, heart, whatever the (frank) you want to call it. I thought they would get their crap together a while ago. I’m beginning to think I was wrong.

I agree the team was not right before the Pelech injury. This is what happens when the core of the team remains the same for a number of years. Just hiring Barry is not enough.

This team needs a roster altering trade and those just do not happen. To me this is a very stale roster.

They are getting out hustled as you say. They seem to stand around and watch as the other team has jump and gets to loose pucks. Then they lose most of the puck battles along the boards as well. So they get hemmed in their zone for long stretches.

And when they have a scoring opportunity, they just can't bury it.

I do not get hockey people calling this a gritty team. MM Casey and Cal and Lee yes. Most of the team is soft and they are soft in the top 6. This team has very few to way players.
