The Isles definitely among the suitors for Kreider. Can’t imagine the NYR make that deal unless it’s an offer they simply have to accept. Door to staying with the Rangers and extending isn’t closed.

I don't think it's gonna happen. I'm sure they're interested but I can't fathom a) the two teams making a major trade like that and b) the Islanders having any sort of way to fit a $7M contract on the books with Barzal, Pulock, and Toews needing new deals.
