I thought the whole point of Toffoli was the chemistry with Pearson. (I get that he is replacing Boeser) To not have him start on Bo's line is bad coaching IMO.

Bo has the 'ability' to be a quality 2nd line center in the league but like most he needs to be surrounded with the right wingers. Why not just leave JV with Petey and Miller and stick Toffoli with Bo?

I have a couple of thoughts on this.

I don't have much to say about the coaching because I think we have seen all we can expect from Green. I think he has maxed out and most of us know that. It comes down to when do they switch or how can he learn more.

Loui : I think he will be moved by TDL and it will cost to move him or he will be gone July 2 . I will be very pissed if he is still with the club next year.

Benn has been a disappointment and I am the one who was in favor of bringing him here . The upside is I thought Fantenberg had a good year and brought what I wanted Benn to bring.

Bo is a good third line center . I will leave it at that. I do really hope they bring in Kopitar. He is still a 70 pt player.

I think that a lot of anger is misguided in that assumption he was brought he because he has chemistry with Pearson. He was brought here after they knew BB was out because he’s a legit top 6 winger. They put him in the best position to succeed right away, and that’s with the two best players.

Still would like to see him with Bo and Pearson, but I get the rationale. I don’t get the keeping LE in the top 6 rationale, but that’s a different thing.
