no, it's not

Ok. Thanks. I think they can do better. IMO, the only way he goes to Boston is if they want to keep him happy and try and sign him in the summer.

Gauthier is gonna be big once he gets system down and knows team better , not gonna stay on 4th line for sure , Fast if not pkg or just traded will paly where he should 3rd or 4th line ,D G should get more time to 4th line for fresher stronger team and more wins ...making P O's is feverish ,teams faltering ,injuries , 6 pts .....

I think he's a solid player, but I'd need more coming back than just a 1st and a possible 3rd with that.

he's a guy that has to be signed as a RFA this summer and a guy that they probably wouldn't be able to protect in the expansion draft

somebody on here questioned if he can skate

ummmmm, yeaaaaaah he can

- jimbro83

Oh yeah. He can skate.

Biggest knock on him is his hockey sense. Nobody gets to play a pure north-south game in Brind'amour's system and there were doubts he was ever going to get that.

Still, I love the way he plays and think accommodations should have been made for it.

would you pkg A dA & pick for Drew Doughty(cap $ picked up) .....

i give this to you, you know who you are ...

Just saying with Guathier possibly filling a top 6 slot soon ,all we need is a top left D and we can win the cup, and keep building too ...

If he were the 2nd prospect, that would be fine. The problem for Boston is they don't have a 1st prospect that they'd be willing to part with.

Studnicka or Beecher we wouldn't have to protect for expansion draft

Bjork they would

remember, we have to protect Gauthier

I'm not sure it's a given they do. The best thing about getting the Gaut is we are basically able to give him an extended tryout. If he flops, he becomes an easy expose.

Requires waivers if he doesn't make the big club next season.

he could actually be really good and still a tough decision about being exposed

this is why i don't think they are going to trade Kreider for a package that includes a player they will have to protect

The one play last night was almost like looking at Kreider, went by the defenseman used his body to shield the puck and got a nice scoring chance. Kid has some (frank)ing wheels

Kreider's goal last night

Probably one of the best highlight reel goals of his career.

No way, man! I was yelling at stupid Eddie O. How can he be offside if he used his blade to redirect the puck, meaning it was on the ice, and the puck was obviously not behind the end of his blade when it crossed?
Great play by Kreids!!

You'd think Eddie O would be a little kinder to us given the fact we gave him his only cup despite him doing next to nothing for us.
