I said yesterday it’s a waste to have JvR on the third line being centered by Laughton. I would absolutely entertain a Staal trade or a Carter trade. It all comes down to what we can give up. Carter or Staal would strengthen this line up, especially down the middle.

Every time I watch Hayes - he just reminds me of Primeau. Big guy with good speed, dominating the puck. I was ok but not overly thrilled about taken on Primeau, but he really grew on me. Ditto with Hayes.

Duchene took a I-wanna-be-a-country-star discount at 8 M per, and his numbers are pretttttttty similar to Hay-days. But Hayes is the overpaid one...

Myers and Sanheim are really coming into their own. It had some struggles at first, but they’ve been great lately.

Moose wasn’t great. But that save he made in the 2nd was absolutely huge. Seemed to settle him down. Because he looked light he was fighting it big time the first half of the game.

he had a good game. the third goal i didnt like because the puck was so far away and elliot was nearly at his goal line, not challenging at all. In fact probably could have been goalie interference if he came out to the top of his crease

With Braun being out with flu, and a good portion of the team looking a bit sluggish and making uncharacteristic plays under pressure, I have to wonder if there isn't a team-wide bug going on right now.

Might explain Hart not starting, and even Elliott looking extra shaky? Just a thought

Yes, for sure but I thought he continued to look a little off. However as always, he just keeps at it. He is a fighter.

I think so too, but as all bottom 6 guys should, NAK needs to maintain a Laughton-like attitude to keep it.

His positioning was god awful. If he wasnt sitting on his goal line it would have most likely hit him, or he would have drew goalie interference. When he sits on the goal line it opens up more space for the puck to go.

You realize Now or Never was a 24-hour decision to replace the no longer tenable Do or Die after announcement of Oskar's diagnosis. I don't love it because it's silly. But basing any hockey decisions on a slogan would be beyond silly.
